"The treatment we received from the staff at the Glenview was of very high standard. It was courteous and efficient and was as impressive in the small hours of the morning as it was in the middle of the day. A particular mention is due to the chef and his team who prepared the dinner on our wedding day. We both enjoyed it immensely as did ALL our guests – including some very hard-to-please aunts and uncles.

However, the two stars of the occasion from our point of view were Ms Gina Passi and Ms Jo Stafford. Gina guided us thorough the multiple decisions involved in the process of choosing the menu, organising accommodation and finalising the guest list with aplomb and endless patience. Her speed and thoroughness in response to any query or request was very impressive, and left us reassured that our day was in safe hands throughout. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her and nothing, however small, was over looked.

On the big day, everything from the champagne greeting at the door, to the tea and coffee through to dinner and dancing was managed by Jo in a capable but unobtrusive way. She was never to the forefront but was always present when she was needed. When we were making our weary way to bed at nearly 2am, she was still on duty and was as attentive to us then as eight or ten hours previously.

Choosing a hotel for a once-in-a-lifetime occasion is a difficult task for many but was not for us. Having seen many potential venues, our verdict was always the same: "it’s ok but it’s not the Glenview, is it?" The decision we made to put our wedding day in your hands was the right one, and to all the people at the Glenview Hotel, but especially Gina & Jo, we offer our warmest thanks."
