Sales & Marketing Manager Full-time

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic professional, results focused with excellent customer service, motivation and communication skills. This person would lead the Sales & Marketing functions of the hotel so as to achieve the profitability targets agreed annually and actively promote and sell the brand and services of the Glenview Hotel.

The ideal candidate would possess: 
• Excellent management, leadership & organisation skills
• An ability to source, develop and secure new business for the hotel
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent sales and customer care expertise
• An excellent understanding of revenue, selling and negotiation would be essential
• Establish, enhance and maintain productive quality working relationships with key internal and external customers
• Conduct on the road sales calls with existing & potential clients
• Experience on sales data systems
• A strategic view and good understanding of the Hotel business in general
• Knowledge of local markets an asset
• Previous experience in a similar position is essential

 


Bar Manager
A vacancy has arisen for a Bar Manager to ensure the professional and profitable running of the Hotels Bars whilst maintaining the highest standars of customer care.

The ideal candidate must have:
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar property
• Ability to maintain and manage consistently high standards of service
• Ability to manage Food & Beverage facilities
• Excellent guest relations skills
• Excellent organisational and communicational skills
• Excellent written and spoken levels of English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to carry out duty manager shifts

 

Reception Manager
We are looking for an ambitious, career minded individual who shares our passion for delivering the highest standards of customer service. A vacancy has arisen for an Reception Manager that can ensure the smooth and effective operation of the front of house function, including but not limited to Reception, Reservations and Nights, in accordance with company profitability and budgetary targets
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar style establishment.
• Ability to maintain and manage consistently high standards of service in all departments of the hotel
• Excellent guest relations skills
• Ability to manage the front desk
• Be responsible for Front Office debtors and management of same
• Be responsible for upselling at front desk
• Be responsible for allocations of rooms
• Be the direct link to reservations and revenue
• Liaise with accommodation
• Drive standards and train and upskill all Front Office team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven training skills
• Experience in maximizing revenue & minimizing costs
• A proven track record in managing a successful department
• Are fully experienced in Opera
• Ability to overlook daily operation of the Hotel, in conjunction with Heads of Departments
• Responsible for duty management shifts
• Adhere to company Health & Safety Policy
