We celebrated our wedding at the Glenview Hotel in October and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. The hotel’s stunning grounds provided a breathtaking backdrop, especially with the autumnal forest setting. The staff made us feel like royalty throughout our stay, and we were so grateful for Leanne Humphreys, who ensured every detail was perfect. The autumnal theme was beautifully complemented by the pumpkins, fires, and candles, adding a cozy touch.

It was wonderful to share this special day with my husband’s family from Mongolia, many of whom had never been to Ireland or stayed in a hotel before. The food was absolutely stunning, and all our guests had a fantastic time.

Wow! The staff, the food, the location – everything was absolutely amazing. My now-wife and I had an incredible time. We got married in the gardens, and it was honestly like a fairytale – exactly what I’ve always dreamed of. A huge shout-out to the staff; every single one of them was amazing. Sadly, I can’t remember all their names, except for Leanne (our wedding coordinator), who really went above and beyond for us, ensuring the day went smoothly so we didn’t have to worry.

The food was exceptional, and the enthusiastic banquet manager kept a smile on everyone’s face the day before and on the wedding day itself. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion, especially a wedding! (Brona and Kayleigh – Bride & Bride)

Myself and Tina had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the Glenview Hotel on 24/08/2024.

From the moment we set foot into the hotel on the night before we were treated like Royalty. Leanne and the Events team were fantastic and very helpful. The bar staff catered to our every need. Actually all the staff from the front desk to the room attendants went above and beyond for us.

On the morning of our wedding the staff and management did everything in their power to decorate not only the Glenview Suite where our Reception would take place, but also the Garden where our Ceremony was to be held. To say it looked stunning wouldn’t do it justice. It was Amazingly Beautiful!! It was like a Fairytale!!

Every staff member worked to the highest of standards to ensure our wedding was a success. Our wedding guests were treated with the utmost respect and the day was Flawless.

Our meal was served very efficiently and effectively. The food was of the highest quality and standard.

All our guests who stayed in the hotel commented that the rooms were of the highest standard and were immaculate. The Bridal Suite was very exquisite and very pleasing to the eye.

The next morning the Buffet Breakfast was also amazing and catered for all.

Myself and Brendan would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to yourself and the team at the Glenview for our wedding in May 2024.

Throughout the buildup, your wedding coordinator and team were in regular contact and this planning really paid off on the day, with our guests and families having a wonderful experience. Unfortunately the weather led us to make a late decision to have an indoor ceremony, but this wasn’t obvious, the Glenview suite was decked out with curtains, lights and flowers and looked amazing – great attention to detail considering how rapidly your team had to set up everything.

Several guests commented on the food – after a long day of celebrating and photographs, it was great to have everyone seated and fed so efficiently – Frano and the dining team worked wonders with a very busy room.

We want to thank the Glenview Hotel for the most wonderful wedding day we could have imagined.

From the first day we met with Leanne, she was on board and knew exactly what we wanted on our special day. She organised everything and took all the pressure off us so we were so relaxed on the day knowing it would be perfect.

We got married at 3 pm and the plan was to arrive at the hotel at 4.45 pm. On the day the staff pulled out all the stops as the snow and wind made our planned photo shoot on the beach and in the woods impossible and we arrived an hour earlier than expected.
We were welcomed with smiling faces and nothing was too much trouble. After a quick check-in to our beautiful rooms, we all met up at 4.15 pm in the conservatory bar for prosecco, tea, coffee and delicious scones. Everyone was so appreciative on such a cold and snowy day. The view from the conservatory was like a winter wonderland and our guests absolutely loved it.

At 7 pm we made our way to The Malton Lounge which was decorated so beautifully and the most delicious dinner was served at 7.30 pm. The food was superb and the service was 5-star. The attention to detail from start to finish was fabulous and we could not have asked for more. The chef’s delicious food, the banqueting manager, the serving staff, and the banquet room were all amazing and the atmosphere was magical.

We had the most wonderful day and the jewel in the crown was Leanne the events manager who ensured our every wish came true. Our guests are still talking about their fantastic time there. We cannot recommend the Glenview Hotel highly enough. Thank you to you all. We just wish we could do it all again. (Bernadette and Peter – Bride & Groom )

Sinead took over the planning of our wedding in the Glenview hotel from the early stages and we couldn’t have asked for better. She understood us as a couple and knew exactly what we wanted… a great day to remember with as little stress getting there!!!  She took us through each stage with such professionalism and her attention to every detail meant all we had to do was say yes or no meaning the wedding planning for us was carefree, she thought of everything. She was always on hand to answer any questions we might have had. Sinead and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we wanted, including changing the ceremony room layout to accommodate all our guest 24 hrs before the day itself! Nothing was ever impossible for them they always made it possible

On the day itself everything just flowed perfectly that myself and Denis just sailed through the day with huge smiles. The staff kept us updated throughout the day that everything was in hand and going to plan… including the special order of rare beef for the father of the bride!!!!  Every guest was catered for as individuals, everyone was blown away with the standard and quality of the food. All our guests kept saying what a wonderful day it was and commented on how laidback myself and Denis were as we didn’t need to worry about anything the whole team on the day were on top of every aspect.

Denis and I would highly recommend Sinead and her team at the Glenview she made the whole wedding from start to finish easy for us that allowing us to enjoy the planning and the day itself as we had so much confidence in her and she thought of every last detail. ( Sarah & Denis – Bride & Groom ) 

I cannot thank you and the team enough for the most amazing night.  Really from start to finish, it was all perfect.  The room looked fabulous and everyone commented on how beautiful it was.  The food was delicious and so many people came up to say this to me.  We were thrilled with the prosecco for the toast.  Marco and the team were so great to deal with and so helpful.  The video worked out really well, the vows were lovely and then we both said a few words – lots of tears but it was very special.  The DJ had everyone up and we all just had fun dancing away.  Honestly, I don’t think the event could have gone any better.  The only small issue was the weather but it was so great to have the use of the beautiful lounge instead.

It was a huge help having the bedroom and I really appreciated the location.  Colin was able to rest right before the event and went up once during the evening and then retired for the night early.  But I was able to stay at the party, which was great.  We really appreciated the night porter arranging breakfast in our room the next day as this meant that Colin was able to go straight back to bed after breakfast for a rest (the day was very tiring for him although he thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish).

On a personal note, I want to again thank you for everything you did for us.  The whole event exceeded expectations.  I really appreciate all of the valuable input and how you worked so well with me to make my vision a reality.  We are just thrilled that it all went so well.  ( Julie & Colin –  Bride& Groom ) 

I Francis and my wife Christine just want to say thank you so much for all the work you put into our wedding which was held at your hotel on 8th August 2023. The whole day went so well and really, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! We’ve had so many people commenting on how amazing the Glenview Hotel looked and the professionalism of the staff. It was really nice to meet our Wedding Planner Sinead Crimmons whose professionalism made us feel that everything was under control, and she did a fantastic job right from the start of our wedding plan.

People have also been saying how good all the food was – which it was! They also mentioned that the Restaurant staff were all very friendly, including the Restaurant Manager. A BIG thank you to all the Restaurant and Bar staff. So many people have said it has either been the best wedding they have ever been to or that the food has been the best they’ve ever had at a wedding.   It was so nice to stand back for a moment in the evening and see everyone enjoying themselves so much.  Sinead did a wonderful job for us, and we are very grateful for the expert input that she provided in advance of the big day. We had our Wedding ceremony here on 12th November, 2022. It was the most beautiful, exotic, and overwhelming day of the year, as you can imagine. My husband and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The support from the staff was outstanding. From Tariq and Val in operations, Padrick, the night manager who pulled through every last-minute request and handled us so calmly.
